Cult of the Lamb

Cult of the Lamb casts players in the role of a possessed lamb saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger, and must repay their debt by building a loyal following in his name.

By interacting with the Twitch integration, viewers will be able to collectively earn rewards, appear in-game as cult followers, and even help or hinder the streamer in their playthrough.

Joining a cult has never been so much fun

Thanks to the Twitch integration, viewers won’t just have a front-row seat to see a cult growing in real-time, they’ll be able to join the cult and appear in-game as well! By appearing in the game world as a cult follower, viewers become an integral part of the game experience.

This feature creates a sense of ownership and investment in the game world that encourages viewers to stick around and watch as the streamer progresses through the game.

Uniquely you: viewer follower customisation

After entering and winning a raffle, the winning viewer will be able to customise their follower to their liking.

They can do so using skins that are unlocked in-game through regular gameplay, or by the streamer claiming unique Twitch follower skins that are collectively unlocked by viewers using Channel Points.

Turning channel loyalty into in-game rewards

Using Channel Points (a Twitch loyalty ‘currency’ earned on a per-channel basis), viewers are able to collectively pool their Channel Points so that the streamer can claim in-game rewards. This collective effort among viewers fosters a sense of community and purpose - rather than spending their Channel Point on bland and generic Channel Point rewards, they are able to directly influence the game they are watching.

Will your viewers choose terror or pacifism?

On regular intervals, viewers are able to help or hinder the streamer by choosing from a range of options that affect the game world. This means that viewers can collaborate with the streamer to achieve common goals, or add an extra layer of challenge to the game by making things more difficult.

This creates a more interactive experience for viewers, making them feel like they are a part of the game, rather than just watching things unfold.

Community reception

The Cult of the Lamb Twitch integration enabled a whole slew of community interactions between streamers, viewers and the game: threatening to sacrifice a viewer, viewers banding together to revive a dead follower, …

The possibilities were endless, as you can see in this small video of initial launch impressions!
